Quick Update: Changes Coming to Digital Thoughts!
Don't worry - I will keep going!
Hey everyone!
This one is a little different from my usual deep dives. I’m making some changes around here and wanted to give you a heads up. Quick and important!
1. My older posts are now behind the paywall.
Don’t panic! I will always post mostly for free - that’s not changing. But here’s what I noticed... many of my posts are like good wine - they get better with time. Traffic keeps flowing to them months after publishing. So the window for free subscribers to access older content will be shorter now.
If you’re a paid subscriber, you get everything, always. And new readers? They can still use their 7-day free trial to access the archive. Win-win situation!
2. Posting once a week. Emphasis on “try.”
I’m deep in the trenches with my AI-orchestrated e-commerce experiment right now. Writing is valuable, but DOING things will always be number one for me. You can’t write about building if you’re not actually building, right?
And speaking of building... here’s a very early sneak peek at the frontend I’m working on:
Raw? Absolutely. But at this stage I care way more about the process working than the pixels looking pretty. One word describes what I’m seeing so far: possible.
3. Ten paid subscribers!
This might seem small, but it’s incredibly rewarding. Thank you for supporting this humble little corner of the internet. Most of you wrote me notes, and I noticed a pattern - you like my approach of actually doing things and sharing the real journey. Good and bad.
I won’t change that. Because honestly... I like it too.
Next few weeks I’ll share more details about what I’m building and HOW I’m building it. You might have seen my Manus AI review - the reality is, Manus is impressive, but I probably won’t use it for this project. The more I use it, the less convinced I am it’s the right tool here. More on that soon.
4. Shorter posts.
Yeah. I tend to write too much. I have too much in my head and when I start unloading... I just keep going and going. Then at the end I ask Claude to make it shorter and it cuts maybe 5 percent. Not helpful!
So I’m committing to being more concise. Starting now. See? Already done.
That’s all folks! Thanks for reading and for being part of this journey with me.
