Taking a Breather and Leveling Up: What's Next for Digital Thoughts!
Changes, changes, changes!
You know what's funny about running a blog? Sometimes you need to step back to move forward! If you've been following along, you might have noticed I've been a bit quiet lately (yes, a whole week without posts - probably a record for me D:). After maintaining that crazy pace of 2-3 posts per week plus heavy social media presence, I decided to hit the brakes and see what happens.
And wow, did things get interesting!
THE SOCIAL MEDIA DETOX EXPERIMENT
First off - my Substack has been growing like crazy lately (thank you all for that!), and I've had some amazing discussions with other creators. But you know what they say about too much of a good thing...
Here's what I discovered during my week "off":
My brain finally got a chance to breathe! No more checking notifications every 5 minutes like they're vital signs
Actually had time to EXPERIMENT again (you know, that thing I love talking about in my late-night coding sessions)
Even with zero new posts, the blog kept humming along (though I did miss our conversations!)
Started cooking up some new automation ideas (don't worry, it's still 100% me writing - my AI assistants just got better at organizing my crazy midnight thoughts)
THE PLOT TWIST
Here's the thing - while I love the chaos of rapid experimentation (remember my AI co-CEO adventure?), it's time to add just a tiny bit more structure. Not too much (we're not going corporate here!), but enough to make this sustainable without turning into a "writing until 1 AM" kind of operation.
So, here's what's changing:
NEW CONTENT SCHEDULE (WITH ROOM FOR CHAOS!)
Monday Musings
Quick thoughts on digital, technology, AI, and whatever's disrupting the status quo
Think pieces like my recent dive into education and digital skills
Short but packed with insights (because who needs a novel on Monday?)
Wednesday Workshops
This is where the real fun happens!
Deep dives into experiments, automations, and tools
Similar to my Dynamic Claude Chat guide or automation frameworks
The Chaos Slot™
Could be anything from a midnight coding revelation
Maybe thoughts on why AI is reshaping white-collar work
Heck, might even be a tech-inspired haiku if that's where my brain goes!
THE SUBSCRIPTION EVOLUTION
After experimenting with different formats and talking with many of you, I'm introducing paid subscriptions! But here's my promise - I'm not going to hide all the good stuff behind a paywall. Instead, think of it as Netflix for digital experiments:
Free Subscribers Get:
All Monday Musings
The Chaos Slot adventures
Selected Wednesday deep dives
Basic access to my experimental apps
My eternal gratitude for being here!
Paid Subscribers ($8/month) Get:
Everything above, plus:
Full access to ALL posts
Complete access to my mini-apps and blueprints
Occasional special content (maybe even an ebook!)
First access to new tools I build
As a thank you for reading me - I created 30 days for free offer. Enjoy!
FAQ (Because I Know You're Wondering)
Q: What does "limited access" mean for apps?
A: Think of it like a extended trial - free users get good stuff, but paid subscribers get the full experience (except enterprise/teams features).
Q: If you build a full-scale app, do paid subscribers get it free?
A: For smaller tools, absolutely! For bigger projects, you'll get perks (like extended free trials) but I can't give away months of work for $8 (I still need coffee money D:).
Q: Are you just keeping the good stuff for paid subscribers?
A: Not at all! I'm still sharing tons of valuable content freely - because that's what building in public is all about! Plus, I genuinely love this community, paid or free.
WHO SHOULD SUBSCRIBE?
If you're fascinated by the messy process of building things, love seeing how the digital sausage gets made, and don't mind occasional "it's not perfect but it works!" solutions - this is for you. I'll be sharing more behind-the-scenes stuff, detailed how-tos, and even adding video/audio content to really show you how things come together.
Think of it as joining my digital lab - where we experiment fast, learn constantly, and sometimes break things (in a good way!).
Here's to the next phase of our digital adventure together! Whether you're here for the free insights or ready to dive deeper with a paid subscription, I'm just grateful you're part of this journey.
