I’m on the edge of your bubble, with eyes on an even larger bubble that is the world of code, which is who I’m trying to find ways to communicate what is happening—how our world works and is changing—to those who are on the outside of both bubbles and are passively affected by them. It’s hard to bridge the gap, though.
With all due respect, but context windows do not belong exclusively in agents, they belong in GenAI, and if someone does not know what it means while being a "coder", it's a red flag IMO. Totally agree with your abyss view.
I mean…red flag is a strong statement. I belive that really good coders could still get things done without or with little AI. TBH - context window is a changing concept. It matters a lot back in 2023, when it was aroind 4-5k. Now we are looking at 200k(standard) and many models has 1M in beta.
