With all due respect, but context windows do not belong exclusively in agents, they belong in GenAI, and if someone does not know what it means while being a "coder", it's a red flag IMO. Totally agree with your abyss view.
I mean…red flag is a strong statement. I belive that really good coders could still get things done without or with little AI. TBH - context window is a changing concept. It matters a lot back in 2023, when it was aroind 4-5k. Now we are looking at 200k(standard) and many models has 1M in beta.
